Vishal Veeru Devgan, born Vishal Veeru Devgan, is a well-known Indian actor, director, and film producer mainly active in Hindi cinema. Famed as a top-tier actors, he has featured in over a hundred movies and received numerous honors, such as 4 National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards. In 2016, the Government of India awarded him the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian honor. Devgn made his acting debut with the action-romance *Phool Aur Kaante* (1991), a commercial success that made him an overnight star. He subsequently starred in popular action movies such as *Jigar* (1992), *Suhaag* (1994), *Vijaypath* (1994), and romantic hits like *Ishq* (1997) and *Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam* (1999). His critically acclaimed performance in *Zakhm* (1998) won him a National Film Award for Best Actor.
